Pentire are an indie band who make pop songs for the post-jangle generation through the smiles and sweat of the mosh pit. This Herefordshire four-piece tell cheap lager-soaked stories of student life, a small-town upbringing, and the innocence of youth.

Brought up on a diet of The Killers, Paolo Nutini and Stereophonics, frontman and principal songwriter Jack formed a band with his best mate Owen in the sleepy town of Ross-on-Wye. The two friends met drummer Jake and bass player Jacob whilst at university, which cemented the four-piece that is now selling out venues across the UK.

With previous support from tastemakers such as Jack Saunders (BBC Radio 1), Steve Lamacq (BBC 6Music), John Kennedy (RadioX) and Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist, the band completed a landmark sold-out UK tour in early 2024.
